New York-New York Hotel & Casino

The location is hard to beat. You can walk straight out into the middle of the Vegas action, and despite everything going on, our room was nice and quiet. The hotel has a fun energy without feeling chaotic, and the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. We had a really fun weekend at New York-New York in Las Vegas. The rooms were super clean and comfortable, just what we needed after long nights on the Strip. The beds were great, the temperature felt right, and it was easy to relax when we got back. Whether you’re exploring, eating, gambling, or taking a weekend away, it’s a solid spot. I’d definitely stay here again.

The Big Apple Coaster was a highlight, looping around the hotel with great views and a thrilling ride. The casino floor was lively and easy to get around, and there are entertainment options for different kinds of visitors. Food is another plus: you can find New York-style pizza, a hearty breakfast, or something quick and casual at pretty much any time. New York‑New York Hotel & Casino has a playful Vegas take on Manhattan. Outside, the replica skyline includes the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and the Brooklyn Bridge. Inside, brownstone fronts and street-style storefronts give the resort the feel of a stylized New York neighborhood. The theme is immersive without going over the top, and the whole place feels upbeat and full of character. It stands apart from the Strip’s more modern, minimalist hotels. If you like themed places, lively energy, and plenty to do, it’s a fun place to stay or visit. It captures the spirit of New York and Las Vegas beautifully.

My only complaint is the mini fridge. Why isn’t one included in the room? With what we pay per night and in fees, it should be part of the room. We went without one to avoid the extra fees, which was inconvenient. Apart from that, I had a great stay at the NYNY. The room was clean and spacious, and everyone from the housekeepers and porters to the other hotel staff was kind and helpful. There’s plenty to do inside, with the casino, restaurants, and shops. The roller coaster was awesome too, such a fun design. I highly recommend giving it a try.

On our sixth visit, New York-New York Casino and Hotel once again reminded me why it’s one of my favorite places to stay in Las Vegas. The rooms are reliably clean, comfortable, and surprisingly roomy. Four people fit easily without feeling crowded or having to step over one another. The lobby has shops, welcoming restaurants, and fun attractions, all kept up with the attention to detail you expect on the Strip. It feels lively but not chaotic, and everything you need is close at hand. The casino is always buzzing, whether you’re watching people or playing. Smoking is still allowed, but they do a fair job of controlling it. As a nonsmoker, I’ve never felt overwhelmed by smoke here, unlike many other Strip casinos. My son accidentally left his wallet on a slot machine. Within 30 minutes, it had been turned in to Lost and Found completely intact. That’s amazing in Las Vegas and says a lot about the integrity of the staff and guests. With comfortable rooms, good food, plenty of entertainment, and a hard-to-beat casino atmosphere, it continues to give us a great Vegas experience. I’ll keep coming back.
