The balconies and views were spectacular, from the Strip lights to the mountains. I also loved the two pools: one was calm and quiet, while the other had a DJ, free loungers, and an adults-only area. It was handy having the main casino and food court connected by a walkway. Palms Place was a solid four stars, almost five. The off-Strip location was a big plus, since we didn’t have to walk through a huge, smoky casino to reach the elevators and our room. Local businesses were easy to walk to for food, a massage, a rental car, or even a tattoo, and they were all affordable. Staff were reasonably friendly, though they didn’t go out of their way. Our condo was huge, but had several small maintenance problems, including burnt-out lights, a broken hinge, finicky curtains, and unreliable AC and shower. I wouldn’t judge the whole building by one unit. We’d stay again, probably in a different room.

Check-in was pretty quick even with a long line, and the customer service was great. My room was really nice and spacious, with two TVs so my son and I could watch different things. The ice maker in the freezer wasn’t working, but someone came up as soon as I called the desk. The next day we were out all day and room service missed my room. I called down again, and even though it was late they sent someone to clean it. The cleaning lady still had a positive attitude. The room and customer service outweighed those two issues, and I’m definitely staying here again.

Lynette at the front desk made us feel welcome right from check-in. She was kind, upbeat, and made sure we felt comfortable. The room was spotless and relaxing, more like a home away from home than a hotel room. It was peaceful, too, while still being close to everything we wanted to do in Vegas. I’m picky about hotels, and Palms Place lived up to what I hoped for. The staff all helped make the stay special. I’ll come back next time I’m in Las Vegas.

The room itself was spacious, had enough amenities, and offered nice views. But we’d booked a balcony and didn’t get one. The front desk told us we’d need to sort it out with the “host” because the room was privately owned. We were only passing through Las Vegas and stayed about 14 hours, basically just sleeping there for one night. Four days later, our security deposit still hadn’t been returned, and it had already stopped showing as a pending transaction. The host had said it would take 1-3 business days. When I called Palms place, I was told rudely that it could take at least 10 business days. Other hotels we’ve stayed at have returned the deposit right after checking the room.

We came to see BTS Thursday night and had such a fun time. The staff were friendly and helpful, and valet made parking the rental car easy. The balcony had a nice view, though I wish the door had been unlocked so I could take photos from there. It was also close to the shows and outdoor entertainment. First time here, and I enjoyed it.
