The customer service was excellent throughout my week at the Travelodge by Wyndham Las Vegas Center Strip. The front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff were compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and hardworking, and they took care of everything I needed. I paid less than $300 before taxes for the week, so I wasn't expecting much, but the central location and the bustle of the strip around the hotel surprised me. Check-in at the small lobby office, a few steps from the exterior corridors, was easy and professional. I was given room 126, a Standard Non-Smoking King Room. The bed was huge, with newer linens and a comfortable mattress, and the flat-screen TV worked well. The refrigerator was useful for a longer stay. The room was comfortable and quiet, though direct sun made it too warm. The air conditioner was on borrowed time and only did an okay job for the first few nights. Maintenance brought me a fan, which helped enough. The bathroom was dated, but most fixtures worked. The tub kept draining poorly, and maintenance couldn't do much without a longer-term project. Those problems didn't disrupt the stay too much. On the fourth night, though, I came back from the pool to find red liquid flooding the bathtub, and it smelled like sewage. I reported it at the lobby and was moved to an upgraded room. That room was more updated, with beautiful fixtures and a large, comfortable patio facing the pool. The property amenities were convenient: a large room at the far end of the first-floor exterior corridor had guest laundry, dryers, vending machines, and a microwave. The pool was lovely after a busy day on the strip. Housekeeping came daily with fresh linens and amenities, and the toiletries were high quality. The front desk readily gave me more. Parking is free, though spaces can be scarce, especially on weekends. There were a few incidents on the property. I didn't feel unsafe, but stayed alert and used common sense, since this is the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. It's a fairly bare-bones stay, but gives you a peaceful place to recharge and has excellent service. I'd book again on my next trip to Las Vegas.

The hotel's location is great, but it badly needs remodeling. It was clean enough, though its dated look makes it feel old and dirty. People hanging around the parking lot and hotel seemed sketchy, and I honestly didn't feel safe. They need to improve security, and I wouldn't recommend it to families with small children. Our room was next to housekeeping, so we heard noise all morning. The dumpster was right behind it too, and we could hear people throwing out their garbage.

The free parking and location right in the heart of the strip were the only good parts. After 4 nights, I couldn't wait to move to another hotel. The staff were friendly, but the place felt run-down. Our room looked nothing like the photos. It had no TV remote, and although we asked, they said the TV needed replacing and never fixed it, so we had no TV. There was no outlet by the bed, either. The whole room felt dirty, and when I opened the downstairs microwave, I nearly threw up. I doubt anyone had cleaned it. The people around the parking lot and corridors weren't the sort you want to encounter, if you know what I mean. Even in 40°C heat I couldn't bring myself to use the pool because it didn't seem clean enough. I think I saw a sign at reception saying the hotel was about to shut down. Probably for the best.

Such a convenient spot right on the strip, about a 5-minute walk to the food court and casinos. The pool was clean and worth what you pay. The manager was so kind, she even put balloons and a birthday banner in my room for me to find after the pool, on her day off. That made me feel extra special. Room service was really on point and helpful, and the customer service was great. It's more affordable than many places, and I'll be back soon. Thank you, girls!

The location is good, but staying here turned our Vegas trip into a nightmare. The hotel looked nothing like the pictures and was very dirty. We couldn't walk barefoot without getting disgusting dirt on our feet. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned at all, and there was hair from previous guests. The bed was uncomfortable, and the paper-thin sheets were dirty too. One of us left a wallet with money and important documents in a cabinet, and the workers didn't return it to her. If you stay, ask them to do an extra cleaning.
