The breakfast was a letdown. Even well before 9 am, it was bland and seemed to have been sitting out too long. Several choices were empty or nearly gone, and nobody was checking on them. The hotel itself looked very nice and was very clean, but the pool had a bubbly film covering the surface, which made it look like something was wrong. I stayed two nights and asked for housekeeping, as the sign said to do with 24 hours’ notice. I was still asked if I could just bring my dirty towels to the desk for clean ones. That isn’t acceptable. If there’s no room service, an extra discount on the reservation would be fair, and could even be great in some cases. It’s a service people expect from a hotel, and failing to provide it isn’t a good business choice.

The front desk staff member was very friendly and polite, and our room was absolutely spotless. The bed frame made a loud snapping sound, though, enough that we wondered if the neighbors would think it was a gunshot. The shower temperature swung around, and the bathroom door opened so close to the tub and toilet that it was almost impossible to shut. The tub is extremely slippery, so anyone with balance or mobility issues should know that. Breakfast was very basic. I never saw a touchscreen for coffee, so that was cool. A toddler screamed into the early morning, with the parents yelling too, and didn’t seem ready to sleep. That rounded out the experience.

We arrived late after a very long trip, and Andy at the front desk was friendly and flexible about our needs. He even let our kids swim to burn off some energy. The rooms were nice and very clean. The service here was exceptional, and I’d love to stay again.

The hotel looks brand new, and our room had a fridge, microwave, comfortable bed, and a nice sitting area. Breakfast was included, with hot biscuits, sausage, egg patties, and a pancake machine. The coffee brewer and juice dispenser had lots of options. It’s right off 135, which worked well for travelers. Andy was lovely at check-in, and Tejas was so friendly and kind when we checked out the next morning. We had a great stay and will be back.

The room was really clean, and the beds were comfortable. Those biscuits for breakfast, especially with the gravy, were amazingly soft. The welcome we got when we walked in was the cherry on top. Best place I’ve stayed by far. I’ll definitely come back!
