Days Inn by Wyndham Park City Kansas

Friday night was frightening. Police were on our floor looking for someone, and when I took my dog out, they were pounding on doors. Nobody called us to say the situation was all clear. On top of that, the shower didn’t work. I told the front desk clerk while checking out, but they didn’t offer even a partial refund. I feel I should get some of my money back.

The building could use some updating, but for one night the room had everything I needed, was clean, and felt reasonably priced for an older property. My first room had no AC. I called the front desk, and he came right over and moved me somewhere more suitable. The staff really try to make up for the building's age.

The check-in was the easiest I've ever had at a hotel. The guy at the front desk was right on top of everything, and my room was clean and nice too.

I felt safe staying here by myself, and the staff were really kind. The location is handy too, close to food and gas and near the highway without being right on it. The rooms and hotel are dated, but clean, with very comfortable beds. My bathroom was tiny, and I had to push the door past the curved shower rod; it did shut if I gave it a firm shove. I liked having a proper mini fridge and microwave instead of just a little drink cooler. The water came out hot for my showers, though the pressure wasn't always very strong. I'd stay again, 5/5.
