The room was large and newly updated, with a kitchen and sitting area. The location is amazing, right on Main Street, and parking is free. After skiing, the big outdoor hot tub with waterfall spouts was a welcome treat for sore muscles. Since individual owners maintain the rooms, renovations and updates can vary. It’s better to book through the website so you can select a specific room. I’d recommend calling for advice on the best rooms in a given category.

Treasure Mountain Inn gave my daughter and me a clean, quiet, tidy little home base for our vacation, with all the amenities we needed. We felt safe there as just the two of us, and it had the cozy, home-away-from-home feel we wanted. The location was perfect for wandering through the many shops and restaurants in the heart of Main Street. We were out and about quite a bit and never had trouble parking. It was a great choice and made for a great trip.

It’s at the top of Main Street, peaceful but still an easy walk to all the restaurants and shops. The Town Lift is just down the street, and a free trolly can take you there if you don’t want to carry your skis. Treasure Mountain Inn has the BEST location. We’ll definitely be back.

I shared these concerns directly with hotel management and got an unconcerned response, so I’m posting here to warn others. I believe the five-star reviews on this site were paid for. The location on Main Street is the only perk I found. If you want to stay on Main Street, I’d choose Park Hotel or the Marriott instead. The website photos of the suites, rooms, and amenities didn’t reflect the actual condition. Our party stayed in two suites, and both were equally disappointing. The showers and sinks wouldn’t drain. There was rust on the hard floors and dinner-plate-sized stains on the carpet, so I wouldn’t go barefoot in these suites. Some suites don’t have closet or drawer space, and we couldn’t unpack our suitcases. Housekeeping costs extra and must be scheduled in advance. On arrival, we found old White Claws and Tupperware with moldy food in the water closet. The front desk staff weren’t friendly or helpful. When I called for fresh towels midday, since housekeeping doesn’t come during your stay, I was repeatedly sent to voicemail. That would have been fine if anyone seemed to check the messages, but they didn’t. At check-in, when our group asked for dinner suggestions, the employee gave a careless recommendation for the Jersey Mike's across town. Quiet hours are posted, but hotel staff don’t seem to respect or enforce them, so expect to be woken several times during the night. There are safety concerns too. The hotel spans three buildings, and getting around within and between them requires several hard-to-find staircases. The main hotel is the only building with an elevator, which matters for anyone with ADA needs. Between buildings, the brick courtyard, where the hot tub is, has lots of loose bricks on the steps. I’d be shocked if this hotel were still open in five years.

The elevator wasn’t working, and on our last day the front entrance wouldn’t work either. There was also a loud party that went on until midnight, even though quiet hours start at 10:00 pm. The front office was closed when we tried to complain, and they seemed unconcerned about the issues, though they later got in touch to apologize. The room itself was odd: filthy carpet, a torn sofa, and an old smell. We’ve stayed here before because the location is awesome, but I’m not sure we’ll return.
