Private Residence 3 in Park City

The $40 nightly parking fee was the one downside. It wasn’t clearly disclosed before I arrived, so finding out at check-in was an unwelcome surprise. I know resort properties often charge for parking, but a fee that comes out of nowhere can really affect the value. I’d appreciate seeing the cost up front. I was at Chateaux Deer Valley for an art event, and the visit was wonderful otherwise. The rooms were modern, spacious, and comfortable. I especially liked the fireplace after a long day, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. They also had hot chocolate at the property, plus complimentary s’mores kits at the front desk. Taking one to the fire pits by the second-level pools made for a fun evening. The restaurant was excellent, and the pizza was surprisingly good. There’s also a scavenger hunt for Chateaux wooden coasters hidden around the resort. Find one and you get a free pizza, which gave guests a fun reason to explore and made lunch more enjoyable. Staff across the hotel were friendly, easy to talk to, and genuinely helpful when I had questions. I’d gladly stay again.

The mountain views are incredible, and the food is delicious. The Chateaux is a really nice hotel with everything you could ask for. Room service was great, and my room was always clean. If you’re going to Deer Valley, this is a place you should stay.

We stayed five nights with the family, and it was a fantastic trip. The staff, food, location, service, and room were all an 11/10. Breakfast every morning was amazing, and there was always someone ready to help. We had a king bedroom with a living room, which was spectacular. Coming back to the cozy room and lighting the gas fireplace each night was something we looked forward to. I’ve traveled around the world and stayed at dozens of hotels, and this one is easily in my top three. Highly recommend valet parking. Before you arrive, talk with temple and the other concierge staff for recommendations. They made some great suggestions. Thanks for a great trip!

We had to cancel our trip after my mother-in-law had a stroke. The hotel manager, “JP,” refused to refund us or even give credit toward a future stay, despite the cancellation policy saying cancellations made 8 day or more before arrival are fully refundable, including the deposit. I’ll pursue the legal route and won’t book with this hotel again.
