Our one-bedroom suite was comfortable and spacious, and Shadow Ridge worked well as a place to stay for a ski trip to PC. Parking was the one problem. The packet said one space came with the stay, which was true and convenient, and that a second might be available if space allowed. But the front desk told me a second spot wasn't available under any circumstance. That caused problems for our son, who came up from SLC for the night so we could all ski together the next day. Shadow Ridge should make sure the front desk staff know the actual parking policy.
Everything was clean and comfortable in this spacious unit, which had lots of amenities. Customer service was excellent and easy to deal with, and the location put us just minutes from the lifts. We had a great stay in Park City and would happily stay here again.
Being so close to the lifts is what makes this place. My room was clean, and I loved the outdoor pool. The coffee setup was below par, there was no microwave, and the walls are thin enough that I could clearly hear conversations from the rooms next door.
We had plenty of space for seven adults in unit 201, with two large bedrooms, three roomy bathrooms, and a big kitchen and den. The bedrooms were spacious, and having three full bathrooms was a real plus. The listing said each bedroom had two queen beds, but here the master had two queens and the second bedroom had two doubles. There was also a pullout sofa we didn't use. The indoor hot tub was nice, and we used it every day after skiing. The unit was updated, though the establishment seems older and the interior hallways show their age. It's right across from the Park City Mountain skiing area. You can walk 10 minutes to the Fresh market grocery store or 20 minutes uphill to downtown Park city. There isn't a washer and dryer in the unit, which would've been nice, but paid machines are available in the basement. We had a good experience overall and would consider staying again.
The room was spacious and had a decent layout, with a little fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. The living area felt older than expected, with dated furnishings, dark interiors, and a maintenance issue with orange water. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which helped make the stay pleasant. Location is one of the best things here: steps from Main Street, fun Plazas, and the Park City lifts and ski area. There's also a free bus stop nearby, so getting around is easy. On-site, there's a pool, sauna, hot tub, and ski shop, plus easy underground parking. The place was easy to find.
