Stag Lodge

You can ski in and out from the lodge or some of the units, and the ski and boot valet makes things easy, even with little ones. Deer Valley instructors pick you up at the lodge and drop you back there. The front desk and concierge gave top service. Stein Sport is right in the lodge for ski and boot rentals and basic items. The bar and restaurant are for owners and guests only, so it’s a good spot for lunch when the main places are a zoo. All around, a top spot on Deer Valley.

We had a great break from a long day skiing at this chic, pub-style restaurant on the slopes of deer valley resort. The Caesar salad, chicken lettuce wraps, and pizza were all great, and so were the food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

This place was fantastic, though expensive. At Stag Lodge, your skis, poles, and boots are waiting by the door facing the slopes, with no extra charge. Walk in wearing socks, put on your gear, then it’s just 10 feet to the slopes. They also have an outdoor heated pool open in winter and an incredible gym with every machine or free weight imaginable, plus plenty of TVs. Need a grocery store, restaurant, or somewhere else nearby? A large car and driver will take you and pick you up within a reasonable distance of the lodge, free of charge, though not at the airport. Deer Valley is a posh ski resort, with incredible service and people ready to help and guide you everywhere. Lots of places claim ski-in, ski-out, but this is a perfect example. If you can afford it, it might possibly be worth it.

Residents have a restaurant and bar, and there’s ski-in/ski-out access. Heated garage parking, an awesome gym, pool, and spa, plus lovely helpful guest services. Jump on the opportunity if you get one.
