People actually answer the phone, and they’re really nice and helpful. The ski valet was so fun to meet as you come around Silver Dollar run. Just a great experience in general. I’d recommend it.

The rooms were modern and comfortable, and there was plenty of space in the gym with lots of machines. We especially loved having breakfast each day with that gorgeous view, and the pool was fantastic. The staff were so nice, and getting downtown was easy by car. There’s a shuttle too, though we never tried it. We spent a week here in July and would happily come back someday.

I had a good stay, and the resort was very quiet when I visited. The pool looks out over a lush green valley, with the buildings tucked into the landscape, almost like a Balinese resort. Getting there by GPS was easy despite the plain-looking roads and turns, and the bell captain and receptionists were welcoming. Finding my room and other parts of the resort took a little navigating, but I didn’t find it confusing. My king room was a decent size, with a balcony for sitting in the sun, a spacious bathroom with a tub and individual toiletries, plus a Keurig, microwave, and fridge without a freezer. The seven-pound bag of ice they brought me melted slowly in the fridge and made a mess. The men’s and women’s locker rooms are separate, with a steam room and sauna. I ordered French sparkling wine and a grilled shrimp quesadilla. Both were tasty, though the $70 total included a poolside premium, delivery, tax, and gratuity, so it was pricey.

We’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, and this was one of the best. The concierge team had great suggestions for both meals and things to do.
