The Lodges at Deer Valley 1 Bedroom Condo

After a concert at Deer Valley, this was a lovely place to stay, with nice rooms and a pleasant facility. It did feel a bit pricey for what you get. That's Park City, I suppose, but more affordable rooms would make it five stars for me.

Hudson, the manager, and Marshall at the front desk were both kind and professional, and Hudson tried to fix things by discounting the night, bringing a fan, and moving me to another room. I appreciated their effort, but both rooms had air conditioning problems. The first unit didn't work at all, so the room was extremely hot and I couldn't rest. In the second room, the AC only started working around 1-2 AM, after I'd spent another uncomfortable night, and no further help was offered. It seems the unreliable AC may affect more than one room, which is unacceptable at this price. I wouldn't recommend staying until the issue is fully resolved.

The car service was a highlight, with a great app, premium vehicles, and excellent drivers. The staff were courteous, and the property had a nice historic feel, though the hot food at the substantial breakfast buffet wasn't hot enough. My wife and I stayed in Mar 2025, and the barking dogs were my main concern. Guests aren't allowed to bring dogs, but unit owners have them. Several dogs in two nearby units kept barking even after I raised it with staff, and dogs may greet you in the lobby too. Staff said I could call and ask for a room with fewer dogs nearby, but there was no guarantee. The carpet stains looked like animal waste, though I can't be sure what caused them.

The food in the only restaurant was marginal at best and way overpriced. The room was old, with nowhere to sit, and the bedside light didn't work. There's no kitchen, and the place needs a complete facelift. The spa had dirt and leaves in it, and they couldn't give me a bill at checkout. This was overpriced, and you can do better in Park City. Avoid it.
