I woke up itching the next morning, and what I saw looked like bed bugs. The first room wasn’t clean: black hair was on the shower wall, tub, bed, sheets and blankets. I asked to move to a cleaner room, and it looked fine at first. Then I found the shower wouldn’t drain and the toilet wouldn’t flush. This place has bed bugs.

I was polite and friendly when I called to book, but the front desk receptionist deliberately ended the call on me twice. When I finally got through again and asked about the price, he was rude and hung up another time. I have recordings of the calls and would like the owner to contact me so I can share them. Your receptionist is really hurting your business.

The manager acts like he doesn’t care about the job, and good luck getting any sleep here. Anyone can stay, whether they’re druggies or not, and the cops are always there. There’s barely any hot water, and the promised 24-hour coffee isn’t available. The window sign says open, but around 8:30 he locks the door.

We checked in around 12:30-1:00 in the morning, found the room disgusting, and checked right back out. I asked about another room, but the front desk said there wasn’t one. He handed me fresh sheets, which I took to the room and put over the entire bed without changing the existing bedding. In the bathroom, the toilet seat had feces and pubic hair on it. One bed’s comforter had crumbs in it. The second bed had hair, dirt specks and stains on the sheets, and a pillow smelled like someone had slept on it. We grabbed our stuff and asked for a refund. He said it would take two days, which made me wary, but I did get it. There was no apology or offer to fix the situation, and I wouldn’t stay there again.

The owner and his wife are nice, and we liked them a lot. They’ve had the place since 2005 and have a garden, plus it’s cheap. Still, it’s dirty. Funny place, really odd.
