The breakfast was a real highlight, with fruit and berries for cereal or waffles, plenty of oatmeal toppings, waffles, eggs, quiche, breakfast meat, and excellent bold coffee. Weekends got hectic, though, and staff had trouble keeping everything filled. On weekdays it was calmer, with no lines. The hotel looks contemporary and very clean after its recent renovation, though the furniture shows a little wear and some paint is peeling along the bottom of the bathroom door. The room was still comfortable, and housekeeping added thoughtful touches. Rooms at the back face US 1, which gets loud, so keep that in mind if noise bothers you at night. A very good place to stay in the area.

We found a pretty good price for a quick getaway, and the place was clean and well kept. Our 2 Queen Bed, View room was great, with nothing to complain about. The front desk woman was warm, polite, and friendly. Shops and restaurants are less than a five-minute drive away. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast was nice, but the checkout turned a wonderful trip into a very upsetting experience. We’d just had a fantastic visit to Longwood Gardens and were feeling great until then. The front desk employee was incredibly rude. She eventually called us names, demanded that we leave right away, and threatened to call the police. She did call them. After hundreds of hotel stays, I’ve never had anything like this happen. We felt disrespected and unfairly treated, and it overshadowed the rest of the trip.

The room was spacious and clean, and the parking lot was large. It was easy to get to the restaurants along the main street, and we enjoyed the recommendation for a late alfresco dinner downtown. Longwood gardens is close by. It was very crowded, but self-serve breakfast was available. Excellent!

We had trouble with the hot water, but the manager offered to move us and get it fixed. Since we were leaving the next day, we stayed, and the hot water was repaired. I appreciate the manager and maintenance staff taking care of it. Good service is also about what happens after you report a problem, and they did what they could to resolve ours. Thank you!
