I needed somewhere in a pinch, and the stay was okay, but the place felt really creepy. I heard lots of voices and dreamed about murder all night. This was years ago, but someone should send an exorcist over there.

The room had everything we needed to cook, including a gas stove and oven, fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with a cozy charm and nice decorations. The bed was especially comfortable, and there was WiFi and a flat-screen TV too. The owner was very friendly, and the price made it an even better deal. It’s tucked away near Brian Head Ski Resort. Next time I’ll plan ahead, reserve a room, and stay longer.

We arrived around 10 or 11 pm local time, and the woman who helped us was still up to greet us and get us checked in. When we called, she noticed our area code and let us know what weather to expect on the drive. They take cash or cards. For the price, I was surprised by the room: a queen bed, gas stove, full-size refrigerator, a complete working kitchen, and nice furniture. We usually pay about the same for grungy rooms that don’t feel clean or safe, but that wasn’t the case here. You can tell they put in effort. The motel is just inside a small town, off I-15, near houses. It’s not right by the highway or main road, and there’s no big raised sign, so you might not spot it while driving past. GPS will take you to the door. And there’s an adorable, sweet cat who comes right over for pets. It’s very chatty but not loud, and makes a perfect motel mascot: friendly, sweet, and caring.

It’s a quiet, quaint town, and the food there was wonderful. We stayed three nights while my daughter attended a leadership conference in Cedar City, about 20 minutes away. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the full kitchen was great. Allison can provide a bucket with dishes, pots, pans, and cooking supplies. We also enjoyed watching deer outside the motel and prairie dogs across the street. If you like peace and quiet, this is a good place to stay.

We loved the room, especially the little kitchenette, which was just what we wanted. The owner was really cool, and the place was very clean. All the little animals wandering around were cute to watch. It rained the whole time, but it was still beautiful.
