Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Peachtree City

The staff were great throughout, and the rooms were clean. Whenever we needed something, they got it for us. Breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious. Great location, too. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town for work.

My husband and I booked about a month ahead, on 11/15, and checked in around 11:30 pm. He still had business to handle in the city, but when he returned around 3 am, he couldn't get into the hotel. The front desk apologized and said their electronic key system wasn't working. I have medical issues, and my phone was on vibrate while I was sleeping deeply, so I didn't hear him knocking. He had to stay at a different hotel. The manager on duty apologized and promised a full refund within a reasonable time. A week later there was nothing. He called, and she checked and assured us it was being processed and showed as pending. Now it's been a month and still nothing. Honestly, we're completely baffled.

The room was okay, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast in the morning was great. But the Wi-Fi was terrible, and I need it for traveling and working.

The property felt old, dirty, and poorly maintained, and the hotel did nothing to make up for the problems, not even offering points or a goodwill gesture. As a Platinum Elite member, I expect basic hospitality and service, and this stay fell far short. I was put in an accessible room without being asked or told, though I hadn't requested one. The next morning, the toilet overflowed and kept leaking into the carpet and bedroom. When I told the front desk, they said there were no clean rooms and no housekeeping or maintenance staff on site to address it. My only option was to use another guest's dirty room to brush my teeth and shower, on the morning of an important business meeting I was hosting. I strongly caution others against staying here.
