Pearsall Inn & Suites

I was waiting outside for someone to come check me in. When the woman finally showed up, she gave me attitude and said she was there 24-7. She told me I could go somewhere else if I didn’t want to stay and they could refund my money. Nice to know customer service isn’t part of business anymore. If you can spare five extra bucks, go across the street instead of dealing with service from the bottom of the barrel. At least I’m only here for one night to visit family.

We stayed twice, once going to Mexico and again on the way home, and had a great experience both times. The rooms were really clean and comfortable, the customer service was great, and the price was about half what other hotels charged. Check-in was a little slow, but I’d still say it’s better than the more popular hotels. The lady at the front desk was really nice and professional when we had breakfast. I’d recommend it to anyone.

The second room was even dirtier than the first. Its bathroom trash was full, the carpet was still dirty, there were food wrappers all over, no towels, and old food in the fridge. I had to ask for a broom and clean it myself. After two nights, there was a break-in. It was the worst night of my life, and I don’t feel safe going back with my kids. I had asked to move because the first assigned room was dirty and the door lock didn’t work. I’d give zero stars if I could. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The breakfast area was tidy, and the coffee was fresh and hot. The manager, or at least the clerk I think was the manager, was friendly, helpful, and cooperative when I checked in. The next morning, the manager wished me a safe trip and asked me to come back. I will. Pearsall Inn & Suites was clean and smelled fresh. There were enough towels and amenities, the bed was comfortable with lots of soft pillows, and the sheets were fresh and tight.
