Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Pensacola Beach

The hotel and rooms were pretty, and everything else about our stay was fine. But we booked adjoining ocean-view rooms four months ahead and called four times to confirm, including the night before. We still didn't get the rooms we'd reserved because, according to the front desk man, a staff member overrode our booking and another family who arrived that morning got the connecting rooms. There were other rooms available. Fairfield needs to change how it handles reservations if people who book months ahead can't be given priority.

I originally wanted the Holiday Inn next door, but they had no rooms for our dates, and I'm glad they didn't. Our ocean-view room was spotless and spacious. The mattresses looked new, and I couldn't find a speck of dust. We usually disinfect hotel rooms ourselves, and it's been a long time since we've found one this clean. The lobby was beautiful and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was free and had sandwiches, sausage, cereal, bagels, muffins, juice, coffee, and a big oatmeal bar. The pool area was amazing, with access to three other hotel pools as well. We spent most days at the beach or in the pools, and the firepits were relaxing at night. The indoor and outdoor bars and restaurant were closed for the season, but there were plenty of walkable places to eat. The location is hard to beat, with lots nearby, and all the staff we met were wonderful. We're planning to come back next year. Can't recommend it enough!

A great spot for a beach vacation. The view was amazing, the room and hotel were clean, and everyone was friendly. It's one of the prettiest beachfront hotels I've stayed at. I have nothing negative to say and will be back!

We had a relaxing, memorable stay in Pensacola during the fall. The staff and most of the guests we met were welcoming, and the weather was phenomenal. The facility and rooms were clean, the beds comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast buffet was tasty, especially the Belgian waffles. From the balcony we enjoyed the views each morning before breakfast and time at the beach. The hotel also has a lazy river, waterfall, pools, hot tubs, hammocks, fire pit, fitness center, lobby bar, restaurant, and plenty of parking. There are restaurants, souvenir shops, and boat tours nearby. The beach is accessible, and while the family-friendly pool area got crowded during the day, it was quieter from 5 to 7 pm before dark. As an adult, I loved unwinding in the lazy river and hot tub. I requested a high floor, but we got the fourth floor, which worked out since I'm afraid of heights lol. The ocean and pool views were still phenomenal. Thanks to the staff for keeping things running smoothly, making guests feel welcome, preparing food properly, and keeping the hotel clean and safe. We appreciate all you do. If you're coming from Pensacola International Airport, please take the toll road over the bridge. The hotel is about 20-30 minutes from the airport; setting GPS to “No Tolls” could send you on a route of about 80 minutes. I nearly made that mistake, but a kind local pointed me the right way, and I'm grateful. Enjoy your stay! 😉
