We were on the 9th floor of a luxurious three-bedroom condo, with the Gulf of Mexico on one side and the bay on the other. The views from almost every window were spectacular. The kitchen was big and beautiful, and it was lovely to eat at the table with a view of the Gulf of Mexico. We stayed a week, so having a washer and dryer was very handy. The private beach was right outside, just a one- or two-minute walk away. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the night before we left they left a neatly wrapped batch of cookies outside our door. Such a sweet touch to a trip full of great memories.

That view alone feels worth the rental price. Santa Rosa Towers sits on a narrow stretch of land between the Gulf of Mexico and Pensacola Beach, and the complex has a pool, fitness center, and tennis courts. It's a high-rise condominium and makes a great vacation rental, with breathtaking views.

We had my older in-laws with us because of Covid-19, so we cleaned and sanitized the rooms as much as we could. The place was already so spotless that even that word doesn't quite cover it. It was beautiful, spacious, and we hated having to leave. Ten stars, hands down!

Five days before check-in, the booking agency called to say I had to change my reservation or find somewhere else because they had decided to accept only seven-night bookings. At that point, nothing else was available this late. That's very poor business. You can't change someone's plans just five days before they're due to arrive!
