Oliver Acreage would make a wonderful spot for weddings, family get-togethers, girls’ weekends, and more. We got to tour the property, and Gerri and Dick were such a gracious couple. They’ve put a lot of love and talent into their beautiful home, B & B, and old-fashioned Barn Lodge, where guests can relax and recharge. It’s a warm, peaceful place in the lakes country.

The breakfasts were varied, delicious, and could be adjusted to suit your needs. The owners are creative, kind people who seem to enjoy having guests, and everything is immaculate and well cared for. Their lovely home and grounds feel welcoming, with cozy decor that made me comfortable. The Oliver Acreage is a quiet, beautiful retreat, yet shopping, restaurants, and bike trails are only about 15 minutes away. I recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing stay or vacation. Gerri and Dick welcomed me with a good chat, delicious food, and spotless accommodations during my recent business trip to the area. The freshly made, multi-course breakfast felt like something from a nice restaurant in the Twin Cities. The house is fairly new and tastefully decorated, without the creaks or temperature issues you can get in an older property. I had a restful, satisfying weeknight stay at The Oliver Acreage and would return when I’m back in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

A bit away from the Brainerd action, but that’s just right if you want a retreat. It’s a truly beautiful B&B, and the service is green.
