The room was small, but it worked fine for us, and the king bed was very comfortable. We were there the first weekend of May 2026 for a family event in Perham, Minnesota. There’s no wardrobe closet, only three hooks for clothes, and the room had a standard coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge. The coffee in the room was terrible, so I got a cup at breakfast, which was much better. Breakfast included a waffle maker, toaster, yogurt, milk, juice boxes, muffins, and biscuits with gravy. Everyone on staff was friendly. Housekeeping came in while we were out and turned off the TV but didn’t freshen the room. I’d made the bed before leaving for the day, so when we got back we had to bring up towels and ask for clean ones. We’ll stay again when we’re in the area, though I wish they’d lower the price. It’s quite high for a hotel with no amenities beyond guest laundry.

The manager was so friendly and had great ideas for things to do in little ole Perham. The place has just been redone and looks great. This is one of the few Super 8s I’d stay at again. Thanks, Super 8 in Perham.

After coming from the worst hotel ever, this was the nicest one in the area, and it’s been renovated recently. The front desk service was amazing, and Shyanne put my concerns to rest throughout the whole night. Give her a raise.

Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces, and breakfast had hot breakfast sandwiches alongside the usual hotel waffle maker. There were also cereal cups, bagged pastries, yogurt, and oatmeal packets. For the price, it’s a good deal. The breakfast room is being renovated, though the hallways and public areas look pretty worn. Our room was quiet and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The microwave had a short in it but was replaced quickly. The bathroom could use an update, and the tub looked dingy from use, though it was clean. The shampoo dispenser was empty but got refilled quickly. The fan in the bathroom is really loud and scared my kids a bit at first, but they got used to it.
