Belamere Suites Hotel

For the price, it feels like you’re mostly paying for your own pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. The decor is dated, the slippers feel extremely cheap, and several other details leave you feeling you’re not getting your money’s worth. The location is odd, tucked into an industrial park. Still, I’d say it’s worth trying at least once.

Belamere suites is our usual escape from everyday life. For my birthday we stayed in a whirlpool suite, and I loved the huge tub and walk-in double shower. The fireplace kept us warm through that cold, snowy weekend. We were really glad we got to stay, and we’ll definitely be back!

This was our second stay at Belamere suites, for my fiancé’s birthday about three weeks ago. The first visit was excellent, but this one fell short. We had a room with the built-in pool and suna. Every time I walked in, a urine-like smell hit me right away. I don’t know if it came from the jacuzzi, shower, or carpet. The upper walls looked water-damaged, and something sticky was all over the tile. There were also chips and crumbs under the nightstand, so the room could have been cleaned better. For what these rooms cost, this visit didn’t meet my expectations. Do better. I probably won’t return after this.

The love lock bridge was adorable, and there was a massive pond right outside our suite with a lovely view. I surprised my husband with a romantic night away for our 2000 day anniversary, and it was the perfect chance to reset. The staff were polite, helpful, and attentive even before we arrived, despite my many calls to change and add to the reservations. There are lots of add-ons, and I took full advantage. We only went out for dinner, at Claude's bistro five minutes away. The lamb and duck with a Moscato did not disappoint. Can’t wait to return!
