The Perrysburg Budget Inn

The owner lives on site and is friendly, personal, and clearly cares about the property. He handles check-ins, cleans rooms, and takes care of light maintenance himself. It's an old motel off the 280, but he's done a good job keeping it working well. I needed a budget place for a weekend in Ohio and couldn't find much under $100 a night, so I stayed farther from my event. I think it was about $70 a night for two nights. There are TA and Love's truck stops about a mile away with some quick food nearby. It's not close to much, so I gave the location three stars. All in all, a good stay.

The shower was great, the bed was comfortable, and the reception lady was nice. The place was very clean and quiet enough despite being near the highway. It's handy for getting on and off at the interchange, and gas nearby was well priced. It suited our needs perfectly as we passed through, and we'd stay again.

Our non-smoking room really didn't smell of smoke, and when it felt chilly on arrival, the owner came right down to check. It was sorted within ten minutes. The motel looked a little sketchy at first, and the route in is roundabout, but we ended up loving it. The rooms were clean, service was lovely, and the price was great. A tasty Uzbeki restaurant open until midnight is less than five minutes away. Such a good stop on a long drive, and we'd absolutely return.

This is a clean, comfortable mid-century modern motel that's been restored and carefully maintained. The hosts live on site, so staying here supports a young family. It brought back memories of the old days, parking right by the door and opening your room windows. They've kept its original, practical feel, and it's nice to see a place like this brought back. If you want a clean room with some history, this fits. Those looking for a Holiday Inn should go elsewhere.
