La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Toledo Perrysburg

We were here for a baseball game and a convention. The outside looks a little dated, but the updated room worked perfectly for what we needed. It’s far enough from downtown to be quiet, while still being convenient. I’d stay again.

Everyone on staff was super nice, and I’d definitely return. I stayed in a suite using points. It was spacious and nice, though it could’ve used an overhead light or some light by the kitchen. The kitchen microwave didn’t work and had been replaced with a countertop one, so that light wasn’t available.

The pillows were perfect, and the room was clean, though not spotless, about an 8/10. We come here because they’re very dog friendly and we travel with our dog. It’s also my hometown, so being able to walk a few blocks of “home” from the hotel at sunrise is a blessing.

For a quick overnight like ours, it’s a solid stop. We didn’t hear a peep from the side away from the highway, the basic breakfast was well stocked, and the staff were friendlier than at many similar hotels or motels. The place is clearly old and could use renovation, but for the rate we paid, the room was clean enough. Five stars for the price.
