Comfort Inn Perryville

I had a quiet stay on the bottom floor, along the back wall, and the motel was nice, clean, and well kept. That quiet room location is why I rated it a little better than I otherwise would. Breakfast was the worst I've had in years: the eggs tasted foul, the link sausage wasn't browned, and even the waffles tasted like the mix was starting to sour. The juice was weak, and the orange juice dispenser was empty or out of order throughout the two weeks I stayed. I repeatedly had to ask for tissues and toilet paper. The shampoo dispensers in the showers stayed empty after I asked to have them refilled, and they gave me miniature bottles instead. I've stayed at Quality Motels before, but this place really lacks oversight. I'll try somewhere else next time I'm in the area. Follow for more reviews as I travel a lot. Thanks for the view.

We booked about a week ahead for our October 2025 stay, and it was the worst experience I've had. Front desk staff were never available. The first room had a leak under the toilet and a broken AC, so they moved us. In the second room, the bedspread and sheets were stained, and one bed's sheets had holes. We didn't stay and asked for a refund, but got only one night's refund. I'd paid for the full-refund option when I reserved, and they wouldn't honor it. What a scam. We ended up at Holiday Inn Express across the street, where the service was pleasant and professional, the room was great, and the sheets were clean. Stay away from this hotel.

The TV quit working while I was waiting for the room to heat up. The room had been no more than 50° when I arrived, and even after an hour and a half with the heat on, it had only warmed a few degrees. I ended up going out to my vehicle to rest because it was warmer there. The TV itself had gone out, not just the digital cable, and looked like it had spent too long sitting on top of a microwave.

When we raised the ongoing toilet problem with the owner/operators, they said they would refund us, but they still haven't. They hang up when we call to discuss it. During our stay in early August 2025, the toilet refilled about every 15 minutes. There was no soap or shampoo in the room, and when we asked a member of the cleaning staff, she could only offer opened bottles that were half empty. The front desk was often unattended, and the exterior doors weren't locked, so anyone could reach the rooms without a key. This was by far the worst place I've stayed. There are better choices. Never again.
