Comfort Motel

We were four people working nearby for almost three weeks, and Ms Nancy and Liza took great care of us. Whenever we needed something, they went out of their way to help. The hotel was quiet, cozy, and everyone on staff was friendly. There aren't many restaurants close by, though we grilled most of our meals anyway. A very hospitable place, and we'd come back if work brings us to the area again.

We booked a room that same day at a great rate, but arrived pretty late after driving from St. Louis. The man at the desk greeted us warmly, and parking was easy. Bringing our dog was no problem and didn't cost much. The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. We'd definitely book here again.

The owner is personable and clearly cares about the people staying there. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very affordable. It takes a bit of a drive since the motel is off the beaten path, but it's worth it. We can't think of anything bad to say and will be back soon.

The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable, and the place has a homey feel. The air conditioning worked well, the TV picture was crystal clear, and the whole hotel was super clean. The bathrooms were the cleanest I've seen in a hotel. The new front desk clerk was nice and quick, and she made sure to get everything right while she was still learning. I'd stay again, though I wish the price were lower. I gave it a 4 because the rate seemed high without a pool, especially compared with hotels 30-45 minutes around Boone County. I'd put it at $55-65 a night.
