We’ve stayed here many times. It’s a beautiful hotel in a perfect location, and the restaurant is lovely too. What disappointed us on our recent visit was that we were celebrating my birthday, which we’d told the hotel about in advance when they asked. My husband mentioned it again at check-in, but nobody acknowledged it during the stay. Not even a card or note from management. A hotel of this caliber could do better. I don’t recommend staying here for a celebration. :(

We had a great one-night weekend escape. The room was lovely, with a wonderful view over the park, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a facial at the spa, then used the sauna and steam room after a gym workout. I also had a semi-private training session since nobody else joined. Breakfast at LaCroix was lovely, and the whole place was filled to the brim with luxury.

Our girls’ weekend from DC was wonderful, and the hotel stay exceeded every expectation. The rooms were beautiful and the location was perfect. Spring is our favorite time to stay at The Rittenhouse. We can wander through Rittenhouse Square while the trees are blooming, grab coffee, then head back upstairs and relax. From the room, the views over the park or the city skyline are lovely, especially early in the morning or at night when you can watch the square wake up or settle down. The rooms are quiet, roomy, and comfortable, and the service feels polished without being stiff. It’s an easy place to slow down and reconnect. Since The Rittenhouse sits right on the square, some of the city’s best restaurants and bars are just a short walk away, whether we’re going for a tasting menu or a casual cocktail and bite. It’s my favorite spot in Philadelphia for a quick night away with my wife. The calm, elegant feel makes it seem like we’ve left everyday life behind, even though we’re still right in the heart of the city. We keep coming back for the comfortable rooms, great location, and chance to feel pampered without taking a long trip.

My favorite part was the coffee bar. The room was gorgeous and had everything we could want, and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. We mentioned during a conversation that we were in town for a wedding, and we had our leftover cheese steaks with us. Someone asked whether we needed a steamer and a microwave, and both were brought up to our room in no time. Service like that is hard to beat.
