I lived in a one-bedroom here for a year, then had to move for work. The area was my favorite part. Logan square fountain is less than a block away on Benjamin Franklin parkway, and I loved walking along the clean parkway past historic buildings, restaurants, bars, dog parks, and fountains. The rooftop lounge has a great view of the university city skyline, including a direct look at Philadelphia’s tallest building across the street. The windows in the apartment are huge, and their double glazing cuts road noise a lot, though you’ll still hear city sounds like emergency sirens and late-night revving. There’s also a large glass-walled gym with lots of equipment, including 2 Peloton bikes, 3 treadmills, a punching bag, and free weights. Common spaces include an outdoor seating area by the dog park with a gas campfire, plus an indoor lounge with a pool table, TV, and fireplace. The apartment looks nice and makes good use of space. It has the usual appliances for a new build, but the washer and dryer are small and take a long time. Parking takes some planning. The basement garage is usually full and has a monthly fee, and street parking is almost always full for two blocks around the building. There are paid lots and garages nearby, though. It’s a nice place if you’re okay with city noise.

The team made 1900 Arch feel like home. AJ and Kira keep things running, greet people warmly, and clearly care about the tenants. Enkelejda, Erin & Jessica were also responsive, and the few issues I had were fixed quickly. I loved my five-plus years here. My apartment had huge windows, lots of natural light, and beautiful Logan Square views. Sunsets, fireworks, and lightning storms from home were unforgettable. The gym is among the best I’ve seen in an apartment building, with rowers too, and the common areas are great for having people over. The street is quiet even though everything in Philly is walkable from here. I miss my 1900 Arch family and would recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely home and welcoming community.

I’ve been here about a year and still hope for a good experience. A building should feel like residents’ home, not just a workplace. Things that can’t be fixed and other eyesores are frustrating, but genuine effort matters. Following up and maintaining the building are key to good business. The amenities aren’t always kept up. The ground-floor courtyard is beside the dog area, and the urine smell there is overwhelming. I tried the roof deck too, but it seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. Disappointing.

A really awful experience. It’s everything you’d expect from a grimey landlord.

Overpriced, and the security guard named A.J. was rude.
