The staff were the highlight. Everyone I dealt with was very nice, friendly, and willing to help. Still, the rooms’ condition would keep me from returning unless things improve. My first room wasn’t clean, with a dirty, stained carpet that made the space uncomfortable. I asked to move, and the second room was a bit better, but its bathtub was clogged and filled with water while I showered. The property itself seems to need significant renovation and better maintenance.

The hotel’s customer service is embarrassing. The rooms seemed nearly untouched after the previous stay, and the valet and other processes were inefficient and aggravating. This place nearly ruined our trip, and I’d strongly advise people to stay away. I never leave reviews, but this one got it. We booked for a quick weekend, which turned into a nightmare from arrival. Three workers were at the desk, but none greeted or helped us until we asked. We had to valet the car for an extra $50 each night. If you needed something from the vehicle, the valet staff would go out and loudly complain about having to retrieve it, since guests weren’t allowed to walk to their cars. They also pressured us to get our things and drive the car recklessly through the narrow garage. Our room had dirt, dust, and items left by the previous guests that hadn’t been cleaned up or thrown away. At checkout, we were charged the room fee, valet fee, $100 deposit, and miscellaneous fees. The next day, another charge came through for more than we’d already paid, tripling the agreed room cost altogether. The hotel couldn’t fix it, refund it, or offer advice. They blamed our banks and said they’d hold the amount for almost two weeks. This is a hotel I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

The room and location were nice. But in room 1625, there was tapping and hammering off and on for our whole stay. If construction is that loud, guests shouldn’t be put in nearby rooms. The room phone didn’t work, and the staff weren’t especially polite or welcoming. A 4:00 pm check-in is insane.

The room was spacious, clean, and nice, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. It was an easy walk to city attractions, and an Uber arrived in under five minutes. The rate was very reasonable too. I’ll stay here again if that price is still available.
