Sosuite at The Loxley - Old City

I didn't stay the night. The Wi-Fi kept dropping, which made it hard to work or stream Hulu without interruptions. I contacted the host, who said they'd look into it, but I heard nothing more. When I went to bed, the sheets felt unpleasant. Underneath, I found a lot of dirt and debris, plus an unacceptable amount of human hair. The host told me to get clean sheets from an empty unit in the building, so I did. While removing the old ones, I found urine stains on both the mattress cover and the mattress itself. The place had good reviews, which makes me disappointed to share this experience.

It was easy to walk to Old City sights, and the one-way street kept it quieter than other places we considered. The room was extremely clean and had a fridge, stovetop, microwave, plus handy basics like soap and coffee. I'd choose it again on my next visit to Philadelphia.

I came in June 2025 for a fellowship at a local library archive and wanted somewhere that felt like home. Sosuite delivered. The unit was spacious, cozy, and full of character, with warm lights, colorful decor, plants, and pictures that made it feel lived-in rather than sterile. The beds were really comfortable too. The street view was lively and fun for people-watching. Housekeeping was so friendly, customer service was top-notch, and coffee shops and restaurants were just steps away. Pet owners will also find a great nearby daycare and boarding facility. This was my first time with the brand, and I'm sold. I'll look for Sosuite when I travel and would definitely return to this location.

A relaxing, nicely decorated open room, and a very accommodating property manager. It was just right for a night in the city. I'd stay here again.
