The hotel is clean, and the hot water was fine, though water pressure varies between rooms and can be low in some. Whether it feels like a good deal really depends on the price. At $300-$400, I wasn’t satisfied, but at $150-$200 it’s a pretty decent place to stay around here. To me, $200 a night is fair. Overall, good.

It’s right on Penn’s campus and sits above the bookstore, which is convenient. There’s an entrance at the front and another at the back for valet parking. The second-floor waiting area has a small menu. This is the nicer of Hilton’s hotels here, and it fills quickly with parents and other visitors when events are on.

The hotel is comfortable and elegant, with clean, well-appointed rooms and thoughtful amenities. Its location works well for both business and leisure, and I had a wonderful stay overall. I’d gladly recommend it and hope to return. I’d rate the property five stars for its quality and experience, but I gave it four because of reception. Most staff were courteous and helpful, but one woman at the desk fell short of the warm hospitality I found elsewhere.

We stayed here for the Philly Marathon and had a great time. The room was spacious and clean, and the team honored all our requests with a smile. The guys at the front desk were awesome, and the service was excellent. I’d definitely recommend the Inn at Penn.

The buffet breakfast was great, though they didn’t have whole milk for cereal. The room had nice amenities, including a shower with a hand shower, and the woman who checked us in was friendly, calm, and efficient. The staff were pleasant, and the location is great for UPenn. I’d book here again.
