Budget Inn

I barely slept, even though this was only meant to be a place to rest. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I've had in a long time, and the pillows were worse. The shower had dirt and someone else's hair in it, dripped all night, and didn't drain well. The toilet moved because it wasn't secured to the floor. There was a big gap around the hall door, so we heard people walking by and the hallway light shone into the room all night. The place looked rough, with scuffed walls and missing paint. The AC and heater were loud and worked, but not very efficiently. Housekeepers were yelling in the hall all morning. Check-in wasn't awful, but it wasn't smooth either. They should confirm a guest's last name before insisting they're at the wrong hotel. I knew it wouldn't be fancy, but I wouldn't recommend it unless your budget leaves you no other option.

After driving nine hours, we spent the night of 12/28/25 in a room full of roaches and didn't sleep at all. The toilet was clogged, so we couldn't use it either. We left at 6 a.m., but nobody was in the lobby to talk to. They took a $100 security deposit. Given the state of the room, I think I should get that back, along with at least part of the room charge. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The room was absolutely awful, and the woman at the front desk in the morning was very disrespectful. She violated our service animal disability rights and didn't provide towels before checkout. There was no sign outside mentioning a pet fee, yet they demanded $25, which I believe is illegal. You aren't allowed to ask for paperwork proving a service animal, only whether it is one and what service it provides, according to the national service animal registry guidelines. Shame on them for trying to scam people.

I think the front desk clerk was named Omer. He told us about the area and was so kind, efficient, and accommodating. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived. I'd hire him in a heartbeat.
