The bathroom was gorgeous, with a great walk-in shower and plenty of hot water, and the room itself was fine. I liked the decor, too, except for the dirty stickers all over the elevator walls. As an artist, I thought they cheapened the whole look. Check-in was quick, the staff made me feel welcome, and the lobby had nice snacks. My room on the fourth floor had a nice view. The bed was a little too soft for me, though the clean linens were comfortable. I’d have loved a robe in the room, especially at this price. I’d stay again, but please keep rates reasonable. I see it’s going for $800 today, and that doesn’t feel worth it. Thanks!

The manager was so kind and accommodating, even arranging an early check-in. I was there for one night with my college student daughter, who needed a peaceful place to rest and recover away from her roommates after an unplanned surgery. The room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable, even for a picky sleeper like me. We also enjoyed the rooftop bar and deck. Great bars and restaurants are an easy walk away, and the hotel was a very good value. I’d absolutely recommend it.

That bed was incredibly comfortable, and the reception staff were friendly. The room was clean, too. But the walls are so thin I could hear the neighbor having an ordinary conversation. The bathroom has no door, just a sliding cover over an opening, so you hear everything. There's no fan to cover any of that noise, either. The shower controls use the same knob for water pressure and temperature, so unless you want piping hot water, you’re left with a drizzle. The showerhead is about 4 feet 2 inches off the floor, which could make showering interesting if you’re tall. Pretty trash experience overall. I’m giving it three stars for the comfy bed.

We had a wonderful stay in the hotel itself. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were kind and professional. I especially liked having morning tea at the breakfast bar. It was a thoughtful little touch. I know the hotel and the rooftop Diablo restaurant are separate businesses, but the restaurant experience was a letdown, and I wouldn’t feel confident recommending the property to clients who ask me for hotel and restaurant suggestions around the valley. I’m a wedding planner and brand manager, so those questions come up often. We arrived dressed for dinner and security greeted us kindly, but then we stood at the host stand for about five minutes without anyone acknowledging us. There were no signs saying to seat ourselves. When someone finally came over, they asked, “Do you want to sit?” which felt strange since we were clearly there for dinner. Around 8:30 pm the place was fairly empty, and couples were seated at high-top tables under heat lamps. The hostess seemed unsure where to put us and first offered a table without a heater. I had to ask for one. Once we sat down, the lamp wasn’t on, and after it was adjusted it kept swinging between too hot and too low. The mango and strawberry lemonades weren’t great. The syrup had settled at the bottom, and they tasted like something easily made at home. The street corn on pita was soggy and overly spicy, and the shrimp and fish tacos were bland. We left hungry and ordered food through Uber Eats. There was also a payment confusion: they still had the same credit card I’d used at check-in on file, but said we couldn’t charge the meal to our room. Having the card in their system but not being able to use room-charge privileges felt unclear and inconsistent. While we waited, a waitress with shoulder-length blonde/honey-blonde hair, who appeared Hispanic, gave me a noticeable up-and-down look. It made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and affected the experience. I’m sharing this feedback in the hope it helps improve attentiveness, payment clarity, and food quality at the rooftop restaurant.

The bed was amazing, the water pressure was great, and this was the cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at. I stay in lots of properties and would definitely come back. It’s a beautiful hotel, though the bathrooms need a lot of attention. The valet experience at check-in was frustrating. The African American Valet lady was rude and lazy. She stood in the road talking to an Uber driver while I waited for her to acknowledge me. When she looked back toward the podium, she turned away again and kept talking. They also need four valley attendance on Fridays and Saturdays. The lines to drop off and pick up cars were ridiculous. Otherwise, keep up the good work!
