The evening food and drinks were a highlight. We only stayed in for taco night, but it was flavorful enough for even a vegetarian like me, and the berry galette for $5 was really good. Our bartender was wonderful, and the free dinner and bar drinks each night were a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was simple, tasty, and there was enough of it. We had a clean king suite on a top floor corner, with plenty of hot water and no sounds from neighbors. Everyone on staff was lovely to talk to. The rooms were very dark and we heard no outside noise, but the smoke alarms flashed green every few seconds. It didn’t bother us with our eyes closed, though it could be miserable for someone sensitive to it. Also, the wall thermostat won’t stay on auto, it has to be set to heat or cool. That’s fine in Phoenix most of the year, but can be annoying during the in-between weather.

That one working elevator was a hassle, and it took a while to get to and from our room. Still, the customer service was fantastic from check-in through the pool and breakfast. The whole family slept really well in the comfortable beds, breakfast was hot and delicious, and the hot tub was relaxing. Our three-year-old loved the warm pool. It was a wonderful stay at the Drury Inn in Happy Valley.

We spent three days here and will come back whenever we can. Everyone takes pride in their work, from the breakfast crew and cleaning ladies to the evening meal and drinks staff. The front desk team, especially Tess, made us feel pampered and cared for. Meeting Tess was a treat, she was the front desk lady who started it all for us. Thanks to Drury for bringing together such an awesome team. You can’t go wrong booking a Drury.

We wanted somewhere within our budget that would keep the kids entertained, and the durry ins tick a lot of our boxes. Noah at the counter answered our questions and helped us along the way. The beds were heavenly, and my husband liked the pillows so much he wants me to order some for home. I booked a double queen suite for the location and the suite setup, and it met all our needs the night before a procedure. Check-in was smooth. There was a welcoming event with food options and drinks, including two free drink tickets. We didn’t have either meal, but both breakfast and the evening food smelled amazing and the breakfast options looked great. We’ll definitely come back and look at other hotels in the chain when we travel.
