The only thing this place has going for it is the shopping center you can walk to. I won’t stay here again. I tried it a few years back and it was just as bad this time, so clearly nothing has changed. Check-in and checkout were easy, but the first room was a mess. The floor was so sticky I had to pull my feet up to walk, several kitchen drawers were broken and still glued together, and the toilet had weak water pressure. The tub was chipped too. Before I’d even unpacked, someone with an extra key tried to get into my room. I told them to leave, packed up, and asked for another room. The receptionist didn’t seem bothered and handed me a new key without asking anything. The second room had carpet, but it was very dirty. Its tub was chipped as well, the bathroom light was dim and barely worked, and the bedside lamp had a cracked bulb just lying there. Neither room had a trash can, so I spent $3 at the Target across the street and about $7 on 50 bags that fit it. People were noisy at night, during hours when I’d expect things to be quiet. I’ve stayed at nicer hotel 8s for less. This place is god-awful.

It’s so quiet here that I rarely hear anyone at night, apart from people arriving or the occasional weekend noise. The hotel is close to my job, and after long workdays I’m glad I don’t have to drive far. The gas station and interstate are nearby too, and Waymo taxis come here, which is handy. I’ve been staying here for a while, and it feels like a staycation I’m happy to keep coming back to, even with my usual day-to-day routine. Whether you think of it as a room, a hotel, or home, it’s easy to settle in. I can cook in my own kitchen or grill by the picnic area and have a relaxed, fun evening. The staff are great and the place is clean. Since you’re already on the way, I’ll see you soon!

We’ve been here since August and hope to stay as long as we can, until we move into a permanent place. Having a kitchenette makes a real difference. It’s a good location, though it can be a bit pricey at times. The service has been excellent, and Ericah, Loretta, Vivan, and Brooks have shown us a lot of care and attention.

I’ve stayed here a few times when work brings me to Phoenix, and I’ve never had a serious problem with the rooms. Some are nicer than others, but they’ve always been clean. The property feels quiet and relaxed. I haven’t personally seen junkies hanging around, so I can’t speak to that. And anyone calling the area unsafe or saying the hotel is full of junkies and transients clearly hasn’t stayed in south west Phoenix or north Phoenix off the i17. 😅🤣🤭😬🤷🏻♀️ Carlos, the owner, and the front desk staff are great. Most of the women are sweet and polite and seem to enjoy their work, which can be hard to find in hospitality. My one real complaint is about the weekday day-shift woman at the desk, maybe Vivica or Vivian, I’m not sure. She comes across as rude and judgmental, like helping guests is an inconvenience. There are plenty of jobs for people who don’t want to deal with customers or haven’t got good manners and people skills, but I guess this one pays the bills. It feels like the way she treats people could make guests uncomfortable about asking for help or coming back. If I wanted to be looked down on like an unwelcome house guest, I’d stay with my ex in-laws lol. Some more training might help, or maybe manners, etiquette, humility, or therapy. Still, she could be going through a hard time, and we don’t know what other people are dealing with. I hope things get better for her and that she thinks about the energy she puts out. A smile and a bit of kindness can make a difference. Love 💗, peace ✌️ and light, Sabrina

The rooms are nice, the property is clean, and they do a good job accommodating guests. The rates are the best, and Vivian was absolutely amazing. I love it here.
