I was so relieved to finally have my own home, and I’m happy to be a Mandarina resident now. My neighbors have lived here for years and quickly told me what a great community it is. I first heard about it from a tenant I picked up in my rideshare car one Saturday. He had good things to say about Jose and Polly, the grounds, the community, and how easy approval had been even with less-than-perfect credit. After dropping him off, I drove straight back to Mandarina. Jose greeted me warmly, showed me the upgraded apartments, and the front office was nicely decorated and smelled good. The tour included the spacious apartment, pool and jacuzzi, dog park, new gym, and keyless-entry doors. I knew I wanted to apply. I'd already spent money applying to apartment after apartment, so I was surprised by how simple this application was. I was approved within 24 hours. Thank you to Polly and Jose for helping me get settled. Sorry this turned into a whole book, but it felt like the least I could do after such a good experience.

I've been here around six months, and it's been a thousand times better than my old complex. The neighbors are lovely, and more than one has offered to help my grandpa if we ever need it. I enjoy the little resident events too, especially the Christmas wrap station. That was a real lifesaver. The office does what it can to help, and maintenance is fast and efficient. They're willing to work with you as long as you keep them updated and talk things through. I honestly love living here.

I LOVE my new unit and feel so happy and grateful. I moved within Mandarina Apartments from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom, so this is my second time living here, and the community is still amazing. The process was long and a bit stressful because of my particular situation, but Polly was a godsend, and both she and Jose were supportive and helpful all the way through. I never want to leave. 💜

Papago, the lake, and the nearby zoo are real pluses for me. It's easy to avoid most of the I-10 traffic, and Arcadia, Biltmore, Scottsdale, and PV are all within a 10-15 minute drive. After living downtown, I wanted a change of pace, and this area gives me that. The apartment itself is gorgeous and mostly quiet. Still, don't let the palm trees and empty parking spaces fool you. For the price, it's a decent first apartment, but my experience has felt pretty average for the area. I also don't love being down the street from a strip club and a sex shop. I've been here more than six months and pay fees for trash disposal and electronic access and control. Trash is meant to be collected every weeknight, but it hasn't been picked up for over a week and is piling up by my front door, so those fees feel pointless. I asked maintenance to remove the huge spiders, but they remain all over my neighbor's door. I asked the office to deal with them because they could affect people nearby. I have an autoimmune condition, and spiders and water roaches could be life-threatening for me. I've notified them twice, but they don't seem to prioritize it. I also had an AC leak and was scolded at the office for not calling the emergency hotline. I've seen two major car incidents at the light because the turn signal takes so long that people risk running the red. My mailbox was left hanging open with my new mail exposed. I'm seeing lots of apartment hunters turned away by the fees, too. Management problems I had at my previous downtown apartment haven't changed much here. At the time, this place fit my budget and the application process, but I'll need more space soon and I'm not sure staying would be wise.
