Holiday Inn Express & Suites Phoenix North - Happy Valley by IHG

The staff were courteous and quick to respond from the moment we arrived, and the whole hotel was spotless. When our family of six needed extra towels or bedding, they brought them over within moments. That service is why I wanted to leave a review, even though I don't usually write hotel reviews. The location was really convenient for shopping, food, and area sights and activities. Breakfast was what I expected and didn't disappoint. Well done, Holiday Inn Express!

We stayed here while my wife was receiving care at Mayo Clinic. The hotel's Mayo Clinic rate was helpful and very reasonable. This part of Phoenix is less congested, with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel is new, very clean, and has nice surroundings. Front office manager Jonathan Paz was especially welcoming and helpful.

The staff were wonderful, and the breakfast was okay. We chose the Holiday Inn Express in Happy Valley for Dodgers Spring Training, even though it's about 25 minutes away, because the reviews were so good. They were right about the cleanliness. I spoke with the housekeeper working in the room next to mine; the mattress was off the bed, and she said that happens on deep-cleaning days. They also strip the beds completely between guests, so there's no dirty comforter or bedspread left on.

Everything here feels easy and orderly, and it's always clean and chill. This is an unbelievable IHG hotel with everything you need. I had an incident outside the hotel's control, and they handled it in a way that went above and beyond. Shout-out to Ryan from housekeeping and Jonathan, Rorey, Conner, and Lacey at the front desk and in management. I don't know everyone's names, but I also had great interactions with the breakfast staff, and often saw housekeeping working really hard and doing a great job.
