Alma at the front desk made the stay even better. She was charming and polite, and went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. I’ll be back, and thank you, Alma! The hotel suited my needs well, just a 15-minute walk from the State Court. My room was comfortable, clean, and very quiet. Breakfast was the usual, but good quality, and there were plenty of outlets and ports to charge devices. The lobby was comfortable, with fresh coffee and hot water available around the clock.

You could hear trains and water rushing inside the wall. The breakfast staff were awesome, though. As for service, it reached a new low: at 11 PM I was assigned a room with another guest already in it under my name, and I woke the poor man up. It took another 40 minutes to get a room, then the keys failed twice. They also denied my request for late checkout. Makes you wonder how they treat non-elite members.

Lauren at the front desk was a gem. She was busy and handling the desk alone, but still took time to help with my several “high needs” requests, and did it kindly and gracefully. Her customer service was exemplary and made me feel welcome. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly.

The staff were really nice, and the room was clean. Breakfast was the usual hotel spread. The walls are thin, though: we could hear the people next door and in the hallway. It didn't bother me, but it could bother someone else. My shower was chilly at 7 a.m. the first morning, then warmer when I took one at 6 the next day. I can't really speak to the neighborhood. After a long workday, my husband and I were sitting in our parked car looking at our phones when three cops chased down and tackled a guy about five feet away, then tasered him. So that was... fun. We went inside after that.
