I wasn’t expecting a five-star place, but I did expect it to be safe, clean, and working. It was probably the worst motel I’ve stayed in. There were broken needle caps and lots of bodily-fluid stains on the walls. The sheets had burn holes, and the blanket had holes too. In our two-bed room, one bed had a blanket and the other didn’t. The shower was worst of all. It felt slimy, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, and the floor was sinking under me. I worried I might fall through. The clerk was awful when I asked for towels. I paid $220 expecting to use the motel’s amenities, including Wi-Fi and the pool, but neither was available. Nobody told me that ahead of time. If I’d known, I wouldn’t have booked, and they offered no discount for the inconvenience.

The elevator felt like it could break down any second, and the pool had dirt on the bottom with trash floating in it. The floors were propped up with braces, too. I’d booked and paid for a king ADA room but got a full-size room on the third floor instead. Worst experience. I wouldn’t book this place for an enemy.

The photos online looked nothing like the room we got. Our non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes, and the sheets were stained and covered in dirt. For $220, it was disgusting. We did get a refund, but only after I went straight back downstairs about two minutes after entering the room. The front desk person was already on the phone with someone else who was unhappy. Later, I was told I should’ve complained sooner, after 20 minutes, and that he wasn’t supposed to refund us. I didn’t take pictures of the room or sheets, but I did photograph the unsafe conditions. The second floor was being held up by scaffolding, and there was a cigarette sitting on a random towel. 🤮 10/10 do not recommend!

The location was handy, the room was clean, and the staff helped us out. For a budget trip, Motel 6 worked well and the stay was comfortable. I’d come back.

The staff were really kind, and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice, comfortable stay in a clean room, and the price felt like good value.
