The room was cute and unusual, and check-in was easy. We could walk around easily because the location was great. My guest and I both thought the free drink token got us a drink that tasted like rubbing alcohol, though, and the bed covers were a little thin. I’d stay again and might try another drink.

The room was tiny, with beds that were extremely uncomfortable. We couldn’t get room keys for the first two days. If my employer hadn’t booked it, I would’ve left. There’s nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, and no desk, fridge, iron, closet, or dresser. The sheets were terrible, the blanket very thin, and the towels were threadbare. You can hear the trolley until around midnight, then it starts again around five or six in the morning. The air conditioning clicks very loudly when it turns on. Other guests said theirs did the same.

The room was very clean, and there were plenty of towels. I liked its modern, chic decor and the layout of the accessible room. It had two queen beds, plenty of pillows, and a thin blanket. From the ninth floor, the view was pretty spectacular. Check-in was quick even with the voucher. I was there on a hotel voucher after my flight out of PHX airport was delayed. We checked in at 10 p.m. and left at 3:30 a.m., a very short night but better than the airport floor. Bring earplugs. Street noise carried on all night and kept interrupting sleep, including trains and what sounded like street racing.

Update: The owner encouraged me to contact management, and I got a refund for the adjusted stay. They explained refunds weren’t allowed at the staff level, and I appreciated knowing those limits. Checkout went well, and the staff were friendly. Before that, the Metro noise was extreme. When I asked to change rooms, they told me they were all like that. I requested an early checkout and refund, but was told they couldn’t refund me because I’d paid in full in advance. The front desk staff didn’t look professional or presentable, and as a loyal Bonvoy Titanium member, I didn’t feel valued. There were also homeless people camping by the side entrance. It wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here and won’t return.

The location worked well for walking to the concert venue, and there were lots of good places to eat and drink nearby. The view from the room was nice. But for what it costs, there are better places close by. I knew the rooms were small from the reviews, but still got a surprise opening the door. There was no closet, fridge, storage, or even a trash can. We made do. The trains passing the hotel were loud at all hours, and people on the street were noisy too. Earplugs are available in the hallway lockers. The bed was hard for me, there was only one pillow, and the blankets were so thin that even adding two from the lockers made sleep rough. When I went down for my free drink, the bartender was super rude. He asked, “What do you want?” in a dismissive tone and kept making faces when people asked him for things.
