Rodeway Inn

The toilet in my room was broken and wouldn't flush, and the whole motel felt like a dump. The room was at the back and felt like a trap. The front desk clerk, the big Spanish girl with the long black hair 😒, sent me there, and the door wouldn't close, let alone lock. It felt like I was expected to sleep with it wide open to the street. The service felt intentional, not just bad, and I didn't feel safe. It wasn't clean or worth a dime. If you're not from here, don't even try it, just let the locals have this one. Don't let them send you to room 235.

The room smelled terrible, had graffiti and holes in the walls, and the door wouldn't lock. There was no running water, and I found blood on the towels. The pictures were fake, and walking into the room felt like being in a horror movie. This place is a disaster, unsafe, and needs to be condemned. I called the Health department and the attorney general. I told the manager I wasn't staying and wanted a refund ASAP, but every other hotel was full, so I had to spend the night in my car.

There were holes in the hotel room and sketchy activity all around. We considered checking out and leaving, but it was too late and we were guys who needed sleep. I want to warn women and families to stay somewhere else. We had no bathroom doors in either room, they were completely removed, and after she moved us the second room was the same. There wasn't any toilet paper in any of the rooms, so we had to go back to the front and wait while the lady kept talking with someone behind the desk and barely attended to us. If you're not here for a one-night stand or something sketchy, run, don't walk. 4/21/2025

We checked out after just one minute. Before we even got inside, the key turned yellow when we tried it, but the door still opened. There were bullet holes in the door, and the peephole was gone with tissue stuffed into the opening. Inside, the room was dirty, covered in stickers, and had poorly covered graffiti and holes in the walls. The shower rod was bent and hadn't been fixed, the lights barely worked, floor pieces were shattered, and the place stank. HLL NO. I'd never been so scared we might be robbed or broken into. People kept coming to the desk about broken keys. After we left, we met a really nice couple who'd been behind us. They checked their room and said it wasn't clean, the bed wasn't made, and it seemed like people were still in it. What a joke. I wish I'd taken pictures, but I couldn't stand another minute in there.
