I left a bag behind and came back for it, but they said there was nothing there. About $100 in new items disappeared. The room also had roaches and clearly hadn't been cleaned. The deposit was $60 at first, then $20 cash on the second day. Pretty shady.
The bathroom tub was filthy, and I was devastated after paying $80. The non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes, including the restroom. White stains covered the floor, and the walls looked like they hadn't been dusted or cleaned in ages. Don't come here. It's not worth what they charge.
There were hardly any towels and no phone in the room. It also looked like the rooms hadn't been updated in years.
The rooms have the everyday utilities you need, and the owners and staff treat customers with respect and politeness. This is the most pleasant place I've stayed in LA. I'd happily come back again and again. Five out of five.
I asked for extra pillows and towels when we arrived. They said they'd bring them, but never did. The room wasn't cleaned the next day, and we weren't given fresh towels. The floors hadn't been mopped or the carpets vacuumed. Even at arrival, the tub was dirty, there was no fresh roll of toilet paper, and the only soap was one tiny bar. The room didn't look clean, and there was no complimentary shampoo or conditioner. I wouldn't recommend it or return. I'd give it no stars if I could.
