That view was unreal. It made me stop and think about the whole world, and it left me breathless. The cabin was warm and comfortable, the location was quiet and easy to reach, and the hot tub was mostly private. We brought our two dogs, and the bedroom door made late-night potty breaks convenient. With tie-outs, they loved hanging out mountainside in the mornings. There were lots of attractions and places to eat nearby. We visited great smoky mountain National Park and saw the best views of our lives. Laurel falls trail was closed during our visit, so we hope to hike it next time. I also liked the little book with journal entries from past guests. I wish we'd honeymooned here instead of Florida. We loved it and hope to make this our home away from home until we can settle in East Tennessee. A few things could be better. The shower stalls are small, and updated handheld showerheads would've helped, though the water pressure was great. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The pool table was a selling point when we booked, but its placement made shots difficult on one side. We still had fun, and I beat my husband twice. For us, it's a perfect place for a laid-back, imperfect vacation.
