Arbors at Island Landing Hotel & Suites

We needed one more night on our mini vacation, and Arbors worked out so well that we’ll come back. The front desk rep was really sweet and helpful, and check-in was easy. Our updated room was clean, with a private balcony looking out over the strip. They had lots of complimentary food and drinks, plus extracurricular activities.

Being just a short walk from The Island was a big plus, and we still got to enjoy the hotel fire pit and live music. The elevator was a bit slow, but that was a small thing in an otherwise great stay. We live about 40 minutes away and came for a staycation. It’s nice to find a well-kept, American-owned and operated place in our own backyard. The room was spotless, the layout was thoughtful, and the bed was comfortable. The rain shower had plenty of hot water, and the 24-hour hot tub helped with my recent hip injury. We also liked having a fridge in the room and fresh donuts available 24/7. We’ll be back.

The location near The Island was fantastic, and our breakfast voucher covered a short stack at the pancake house across the street. At first that sounded a little underwhelming, but for just $6 the voucher got us the buffet, half the regular price. My husband loved the homemade biscuits and gravy. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone after a warm, personal place. The lobby had free snacks and live entertainment, and the staff were so nice. Our room was comfortable, very clean, and I loved its inviting colors. There was a towel animal on the bed with a funny card asking us not to feed the animals, plus two Hershey kisses I didn’t want to share. The seating along the balconies made the motel-style layout feel more welcoming. There’s a little park for guests, and I hear you can fish in the river from there.

The staff were such a bright spot, funny and genuinely nice, and it felt like they wanted guests to feel at home. The updated rooms were nice, and the floors were so clean that even the bottoms of my feet stayed clean. We loved the fire pit, heated pool, and hot tub. We’ll be back for sure!
