Bear Camp By The Night

At least the location was good, and the staff at the counter were nice. But the rooms were small and only somewhat clean, and parking wasn't great. My son got toe fungus, even though he never went barefoot except in bed and in the shower. We cleaned the shower with Clorox when we arrived, so it must have come from the bed. He had to have the nails on both big toes removed because of it. We also had to go to the desk every day to get clean towels.

We had four peaceful nights in a quiet, clean, spacious room and would definitely stay again. The bed was comfortable, and the parking, staff, and room were all good. A ceiling fan was a nice touch, and entering with a door code was easier than keeping track of a key card. The fridge was a good size, with separate freezer and fridge space, so we kept enough food for several meals in. There was also a table with two chairs for eating, and benches outside if you wanted fresh air. It was a secure, comfortable place to relax after sightseeing.

This was our third visit to Bear Camp By The Night, and we love the room. The location is perfect for a couple, the bed is comfortable, the room is clean, and the tub is my favorite. It’s mostly quiet and peaceful, with friendly staff and guests. It might not suit a family with kids or anyone who has trouble with stairs. We’ll be back in a few months!

The view from outside our room was lovely, and the honeysuckle along the hillside smelled great. We could walk to the places we planned to visit, and extra towels under the sink meant we didn’t need to ask the front desk for anything during our stay. The room was quiet and relaxing, and we really liked it. The Jacuzzi tub was a plus. The ladies at the front desk made us feel welcome and had fresh baked cookies at check-in. I’d recommend it for a romantic weekend with your partner.
