The cabin itself had a long list of problems. There were ants downstairs, including in the bed, theater, and hot tub, and the upstairs bedroom sheets had dirt on them. The floors were lifting and breaking, and a piece splintered into my foot. The stove had an electrical short. Maintenance told us and management that we could only cook on the outdoor grill or eat out. The kitchen sink sprayer was broken and kept spraying water, so we were told to shut off the valve under the counter. Maintenance later confirmed it was broken and fixed it. One kitchen chair was in the closet, held together with a cord, zip tie, and superglue. The toilet paper holders kept falling off, there was no hand soap in the main floor bathrooms, and wood was missing from the side of the master tub. The main fireplace didn’t work when we arrived and needed a maintenance call. The grill was out of gas and had to be replaced, and the rocking chairs were broken and falling apart. The check-in host was great, but the company handled other things badly. We asked them to confirm a three-night stay, and they did, but on Sunday morning, after only two nights, they texted us to check out. On the phone they argued that this was correct. We also requested an ADA cabin. They didn’t have one, but assured us this cabin had only two steps, which it did not. We asked to speak with a manager and were told someone would get back to us, with no timeframe. When we tried to sort out the three-night booking, they wouldn’t talk to us until we paid for the other night.

We had such a good time that we added an extra day to our five-day Thanksgiving holiday. Booking was simple, and the modern house was very clean, just as it looked on the website. Check-in and checkout were easy. There was lots of room for our mixed-age group, with plenty to do without leaving the house. The kids and adults both loved the indoor pool and poker table. We were blessed with this rental and look forward to coming back. We even saw a baby cub.

The mountain setting was quiet and relaxing, and the Wi-Fi worked well. We’ve stayed with Eden Crest three times now, and Brandon’s Mountain Retreat has been great for our family each time. It was spotless when we arrived, from the shared spaces to every room and bathroom. The beds were comfortable, there was space for everyone, and having a bathroom for each bedroom made things easy. The kitchen had what we needed for meals. There was plenty to keep everyone busy. The game room and theater room entertained the group, and the kids loved the indoor pool. It was around 80 degrees, a little cool at first, but enjoyable once we got used to it. The hot tub, sauna, and firepit were lovely for relaxing in the evening. Eden Crest keeps impressing us, and we’ll be back. I’d recommend this cabin to families wanting a clean, fun getaway.

The location was great, close to all the major attractions, and we even saw 3 bears. We loved the property, especially the indoor pool at this time of year and the outdoor firepit.

For my 21st birthday, my friends and I stayed at Now and Forever cabin. I was nervous because it was my first time away from home in Florida, but I work for a rental company and was amazed by how fabulous and clean this home was. It was beautifully set up, and the hot tub and inside sauna were a bonus. The location was awesome, and seeing a family of bears was exciting. The management team gave me all the details I needed and was super helpful with all my absurd questions. I spoke with Patrick most of the time, and he was awesome. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast. The activity amenities made the whole stay. One thing to know, if you don’t like a high hill, this home may not be the best choice. It was super quiet and cozy, though. I could go on for hours, but I’d give this company and cabin a 10/10.
