The driveway goes straight up, so you have to park at the bottom in the cul-de-sac area. I'd pull partway up and park at an angle to unload, then head back down. Walking up that hill to the door is a workout, so make sure you're able to manage it. I'm disabled and found it challenging, but the mountain views are incredible! It's a beautiful log cabin, and Deanna was great about keeping in touch. She even let us in before the 4p check-in time. I highly recommend it. 🙂🥰

The cabin was nice and about 15 minutes from Dollywood, but several things need updating. The lighting was dim, the microwave looked as if it might fall down, and the dishwasher didn't wash well. The kitchen faucet was loose. Some toilets flushed but wouldn't stop without attention, and one was running when we arrived. Who knows how long it had been wasting water?

The view was outstanding, but the house needs work. The appliances were outdated, the refrigerator leaked, and the stove was loud. The windows were dirty, and screws stuck up above the deck boards. The pool table looked 20 years old, balls fell out of the pockets, and the cue sticks were warped.

The mountain overlook was beautiful, and the cabin was so comfortable inside with plenty of room for everyone. The kids stayed busy for hours with the indoor pool, arcade, and movie theater. 😁

We had such a peaceful, enjoyable wedding reception and week here. It was a great, convenient location, too. We worried a large group would be too loud, but from Thursday through Saturday people outside our cabin were making noise well past quiet hours. We ended up staying outside on the decks later than we'd expected.
