The lobby was really nice, with a fireplace, TV, and seating, but the Riverwalk out back was my favorite part. We visited the ducks and their ducklings and watched aggressive Canadian geese with their goslings. Songbirds in the trees and all the squawking along the river made for lovely mornings and evenings. The front desk people were great, polite, and accommodating. Breakfast was every bit as good as the swanky place down the street where we spent our first three nights in Pigeon Forge. But housekeeping missed our room entirely. On our last evening, the beds weren’t made, trash was still in the bins, and the towels that should’ve been replaced were left on the bathroom floor. That was a huge disappointment. I don’t like being forgotten, and that’s how it felt.

My six-year-old cut her foot on glass left in the hallway, and it ruined our trip. People staying farther down the hall said it had been there for days. We had to call the staff to get it cleaned up, when someone should have dealt with it before we ever reported it. How many employees walked past it? If safety for kids matters to you, I wouldn't choose this hotel.

The front desk made our stay especially easy, helping us with directions and useful information, and the breakfast was great. Those biscuits were a standout. We’ve stayed at several Econo Lodges before, but this one felt like a step up, with very nice rooms and service. It’s also close to lots of attractions. We were really impressed and highly recommend staying here.

There’s so much to do around the hotel, with plenty of restaurants and fun places nearby. The front desk was nice, and our room and bathroom were clean. We got to stay as a gift from family, which made the visit even more exciting, and I’d stay here again. It was spring break, though, so there were lots of kids and the noise was medium to high. Choose your dates carefully. Pigeon Forge is exciting.

For the price, this was a good value in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area. Dollywood was 10 minutes away and Gatlinburg was 17 minutes away, so the location worked really well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are basic and on the small side, as you’d expect at this price, but there’s a pool and hot tub that the kids appreciated. We’d definitely come back when we visit the area.
