La Quinta Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge

Bre took care of my room and left a lovely handwritten note, a small gesture that made the stay feel special. Housekeeping also came by daily without my having to ask, and they were glad to change the sheets every day when requested. From the minute we arrived, the women at reception greeted us warmly and helped us feel at ease. I've stayed at plenty of upscale hotels, but my first time at La Quinta left a strong impression. The staff's kindness and care made it a wonderful visit, and I'd stay here again.

We usually go camping, but we'll add this motel to our rotation and plan to book directly next time. The location is handy for restaurants and activities, and the staff did a lot to make us comfortable. When I took our dog out, someone offered me an umbrella, and when I mentioned needing something, the front desk agent pointed me toward a nearby grocery store. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond, in my opinion. I had unknowingly booked through a third party, which gave me wrong information about the pet policy, didn't tell me about the construction, and recorded my phone number incorrectly. Even so, we had a wonderful long weekend and look forward to returning.

The people here made the trip for me. Barbie, Karen and Gloria ran the kitchen with such warmth, knew the area well, and were helpful to every guest. Staff from housekeeping, maintenance, the front desk, and kitchen all spoke positively about working at this location, the company, and especially the manager. The hotel was convenient for attractions, with plenty of free parking and quick, easy check-in. Our room was clean and had all the toiletries we needed, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a good range of choices, coffee was free all day, and the kids loved the pool. The patio was a nice spot for morning coffee. We spent five days there and had a perfect vacation. Great job, La Quinta, for hiring such a one of a kind team and making our stay so good.

The pool area was clean and looked nice, but we booked because we wanted a heated pool for our 6 yo's birthday, and it didn't feel heated to us. We were told it should be 82 degrees, though I'd guess it was closer to 78. We have a pool at home and can enjoy water at 82, but this felt too cold, even after we got used to it. We came out with chill bumps, lol. If a warm pool isn't important to you, this is a great hotel. The room was very clean and everything smelled like new construction, and the staff were super friendly and courteous.
