The room was probably the noisiest place I’ve ever tried to sleep. Every few minutes, day and night, a humming sound like a motor starting up would go for about 20 to 30 seconds and then stop. It was annoying whether we were trying to sleep or already awake. We were on the third floor, so I ruled out the elevator machine room on the first floor. The ice machine was nearby, but nobody was using it and it wasn’t making noise. I explained the problem in detail to the front desk in the morning. She guessed it was the ice machine or elevator, which seemed unlikely to me, since other people would hear it too. I asked her to pass it on for investigation. She said it might be something for the engineer, but he was too busy pumping out the pool. She didn’t seem to care that my wife and I couldn’t sleep. A trained customer service person might have apologized or offered to look into it or move us. Instead, she basically told me “bless your heart” without saying those words. Witnesses told me afterward, “Wow she just blew you off”. The noise was still there when we came back that evening. Housekeeping also didn’t make the bed. The notice in the room says their light touch service includes vacuuming high traffic areas, making the bed, refreshing the bathroom, and tidying up, to reduce waste and help the environment and conserve natural resources. The towels had been changed, so housekeeping came in, but they didn’t finish the Light Touch Clean. Maybe they didn’t read the policy, or got tired of hearing the noise. For a Margaritaville property, the Island Inn was extremely underwhelming. It has an island theme and looks recently built or refurbished, but it doesn’t match the standard of other Margaritaville hotels. At the end of the day, it felt like a cookie cutter mid-rise motel painted tropical colors with a few Margaritaville references on the walls. The service, breakfast, and rooms were all lackluster.

I’ve stayed at the island inn a dozen times, and everything about it is great. It’s within walking distance of lots of attractions, always super clean and fresh smelling, and I’ve never seen a bug. Breakfast is good, and the staff are personable and nice.

The island experience and lots of restaurants were within walking distance, and the stay was great all around. I was there for my birthday last weekend. The rooms were very clean and up to date, smelled wonderful when we came in, and breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff were amazing. Andayne helped us when we arrived, and Ms. Joan was there at checkout. Both were friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely stay there again and highly recommend it!

We booked multiple rooms and found them comfortable, nicely decorated, and convenient. The hotel is right beside all the things to do at the island, within walking distance. Excellent place to stay, and we’d absolutely come back!

The night crew were the best, and I spoke with joan n, who told me Carl would be back soon. But when I asked for the manager, I was told Carl wasn’t there and I’d have to wait. My issue was never resolved, and they brushed it off like it didn’t matter. When I first arrived, the beds were dirty. They sent someone named demar to clean the rooms and get the nets out, and after that I thought things might go well. Then breakfast was a mess: all the drinks were watered down and the food was very cold. Tiffany, the server, was rude and had no customer service. She was very mean to the foreigners. A Caucasian woman with blonde hair in a ponytail and glasses, who was the owner's daughter, was there too. Tiffany shrugged and said, “Well, go tell Daddy,” because they were about to report her customer service, then walked away. Tiffany is Caucasian with dark brown hair. The whole experience was horrible. The food and customer service were nasty, and the room was nasty when I got there. It ruined my appetite, and I couldn’t even eat breakfast. I don’t think I’d stay here again.
