Mountain Flower 4 Bedroom Home with Hot Tub

We had a weeklong Pigeon Forge vacation here, with my family of seven and my friend's family of three. The cabin was clean, everything worked as it should, and nothing felt run down or below standard. We had lots of space for all ten of us, and really liked having the privacy of a cabin instead of being squeezed into a hotel in town. I rent cabins for family vacations often, and I'd gladly book this one again or recommend it to anyone.

The place is in rough shape from top to bottom. On the lower floor, the pool table was supposedly leveled with Styrofoam plates. The arcade game wouldn't start, and seemed to be an old machine with a TV screen inside and loose glass on top. Every room showed signs of old water leaks, and one downstairs bedroom ceiling looked moldy. Upstairs, the main-level coffee pots were grimy, the blinds were broken and filthy, and the loft bedroom had no blinds at all. There were no extra linens, the remotes had no batteries, the showers were too small for a child to stand in, and spider webs covered the place. The furniture was so worn and uncomfortable it seemed thrifted or decades old. The dining bench was broken and propped up as if it could be used. The hot tub was falling apart, but the deck was worse, with loose handrails and flooring so soft it didn't feel safe. A broken stair adds to the problems. The neighboring cabins are extremely close, and depending on when people stop partying, you may hear them until midnight or 3 a.m. This place needed updating years ago. Don't rent it.

We spent a week here for summer vacation, and spider webs were all over the cabin. The outdoor trash was already full when we arrived and was never collected during the week, so we stuffed it as best we could and had to leave several bags in the kitchen. The thermostat had no instructions, and the temperature was uncomfortable, too hot in the daytime and freezing at night, especially downstairs. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky, and the loft and bedroom floors creaked a lot.

Mountain Flower has been a relaxing place for us on many stays, and we've never run into a problem. There's lots of room for four families, with four bedrooms, a loft futon, and a pull-out couch downstairs. It also has a pool table that converts to ping pong, an arcade machine with around 60 or 80 games, two balconies, and a hot tub on one of them. I highly recommend it.
